Saltshaker Aguascalientes Update (7/2/09)

From Roy Gongwer:

Good morning!! Our day yesterday was a day of labor at an orphanage south of AGS. We painted some exterior walls of some of the buildings, and one interior room. Seeing these lovely children who have no family to love them was pretty hard. Although there is the language barrier, there smiles were incredible. Today we will be going back to the orphanage to spend the day playing with the children. This will be a fun day.

Last night we went to Richardo and Maria's house for a Bible study. It was an incredible experience, and I feel it was a blessing for the mission itself. Maria was really moved by our presence, and was truely open to the moving of the Holy Spirit. I believe our presence (His Spirit) truely was a turning point in her life, and I know it was for each of us.

Blessings,
Roy
